Biography

David Pritchard is a director in our Cayman fiduciary team where he serves as an independent director on the boards of alternative investment funds, investment companies, and other regulated and non-regulated entities.

David has been acting as a director to a wide range of investment funds and vehicles including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital, private credit, and CLOs for more than five years. He has over 18 years of relevant experience within the alternative investment funds industry, working with fund managers and related service providers across a full range of investment strategies and structures.

David joined Harneys in 2022 from TMF (Cayman) Ltd where he was a director in the Fiduciary and Accounting department. He acted on the boards of a portfolio of fiduciary clients including investment funds, CLOs, real estate holding companies, and other investment vehicles, and also as director of a regulated management company wholly owned by TMF and regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. Prior to joining TMF, David was a funds manager at Folio Administrators Limited, a BVI regulated fund administration group, gaining extensive experience of multiple fund structures and strategies. Prior to that David worked for Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (BVI) Limited and Nerine Fund Services. David qualified as an accountant in Wales, United Kingdom and was employed as a finance manager at Liberata UK Ltd, a leading business process outsourcing specialist

David is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a registered director with CIMA. He is also a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association.
