Biography

David Wilman is the general counsel of Harneys Fiduciary. With over 25 years of professional services legal and operational experience, and over 10 years as a general counsel, David leads our in-house legal function. Applying his broader business, industry knowledge, and financial acumen, he advises on matters as wide-ranging as corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory law. Before joining us, David was an employment lawyer advising various international commercial organizations. David Wilman is the general counsel of Harneys Fiduciary.

With over 25 years of professional services legal and operational experience, and over 10 years as a general counsel, David leads our in-house legal function. Applying his broader business, industry knowledge, and financial acumen, he advises on matters as wide-ranging as corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory law.

Before joining us, David was an employment lawyer advising various international commercial organizations. He then served as general counsel and chief operating officer for Europe and Middle East at a large international law firm, overseeing a period of significant change.

David commenced his career as a logistics officer in the Royal Navy, undertaking various operational appointments before qualifying as a barrister within the naval legal cadre and gaining both public and private international legal experience. His naval career culminated in a legal role working for the Commander-in-Chief Fleet before he decided to expand his horizons further.
