Prior to joining Harneys, Gonzalo was CEO of Cayman Finance, the main industry advocacy group for financial services businesses in the Cayman Islands. Before that, he was the CEO of a full services bank and trust entity in the Cayman Islands and president of the Bankers Association. Before moving to the Cayman Islands 15 years ago, Gonzalo was Chief Investment Officer and CEO of asset management companies in Argentina and Bermuda with assets under management over $10 billion giving him a unique insight into the industry.
Gonzalo has an economics degree, a master’s degree in finance, and is a CFA.
