Biography

Marisol is an AML Services Manager within the Compliance Solutions team, supporting the Cayman Islands practice from the London office. In 2025, she also served as Acting Compliance Officer for the UK office, reflecting her strong leadership and deep expertise in regulatory governance.

With over 20 years of corporate services experience, Marisol has developed strong expertise in compliance, governance, legal services, and financial services across multiple jurisdictions. She has served as a corporate director with several board appointments and previously led a Global Entity Governance department at a major global corporate and compliance services firm, managing cross‑border governance and improving operational compliance.

Marisol is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales as well as the British Virgin Islands, where she practised for several years with a leading offshore law firm with headquarters in the Cayman Islands. Her background also includes serving as Compliance Officer for a Corporate Services provider in the BVI, further enhancing her regulatory experience.

She is a member of the Law Society and a Professional Member of the International Compliance Association (ICA), having earned a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance. Marisol brings extensive practical experience, strong legal and governance insight, and a deep understanding of international regulatory environments to the highly specialised Compliance Solutions team. She is also bilingual in Spanish and English, further supporting her work across global jurisdictions.
