Ross Munro


Ross is a partner in Harneys law firm and has been responsible for the global operations of Harneys Fiduciary since 2013. 

Ross worked in Harneys BVI office for nearly a decade before relocating to London in 2014. He travels regularly to our international offices, especially Asia.

An England and BVI qualified lawyer, Ross joined Harneys in 2005 and became a partner in 2008. He was head of the investment funds practice in the British Virgin Islands for many years and was closely involved in the introduction of the BVI’s Securities and Investment Business Act (SIBA) in 2010.

Ross remains involved in various public-private committees in the BVI and regularly consults with government on issues including regulatory developments and new products. He is also a contributing editor to British Virgin Islands Commercial Law (Sweet & Maxwell), now in its third edition.

Prior to joining Harneys, Ross was a member of the corporate finance team at Hammonds LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs LLP), in England.
