Ashley’s main focus is the anti-money laundering (AML) officer services offered to British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands structures; she acts as a money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) to BVI clients and a deputy money laundering reporting officer (DMLRO) to Cayman clients, amongst other duties. Ashley is a member of the Compliance Solutions team and is based in our Cayman Islands office. Ashley’s main focus is the anti-money laundering (AML) officer services offered to British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands structures; she acts as a money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) to BVI clients and a deputy money laundering reporting officer (DMLRO) to Cayman clients, amongst other duties. With the increased focus on regulatory compliance in the industry, Ashley enjoys implementing and improving processes in order to make the client experience as streamlined as possible.

Ashley has five years’ experience in the financial services industry, working with various aspects of corporate structures. Prior to joining Harneys, she held a position in an offshore law firm in the corporate law division focussing on regulatory requirements of Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) regulated clients, the beneficial ownership regime, and knowledge management.

Ashley graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, is an associate member of the International Compliance Association, and is currently undertaking CAMS.
